High End Options but Affordable
By MN Safe Driver | on Sunday, January 10, 2021
I absolutely love this crossover. I test drove so many SUV's. when I purchased this vehicle new. I was in the process of signing to buy another and happened to see this one. I was very impressed by it NOT being your "cookie cutter" crossover. It had curves, style and sporty look. I also loved the interior with bicolor leather seating, panoramic roof, Bose system and tons of safety features! I love the lane alert, smart cruise control, 360 camera and of course the heated seats and steering wheel. The factory remote key fob also has excellent range. In MN we get some pretty difficult driving conditions in the winter. This vehicle handles so well with the AWD and the feeling of having control. I never thought I would buy a 4cyl but this vehicle is the sport package and has the option for sport mode. I never had to use it. I have plenty of acceleration speed and get up and go power for any driving circumstances including interstate on/off maneuvers. I can't say enough good about this vehicle.… - 2.0
Very poor factory support!
By deadeye | on Saturday, July 22, 2017
Purchased car new June 2016. My wife loved it. About 2000 miles it developed a beep beep beep noise like its behind the dash. This occurs at 60-65 mph. This equals approx. 1500 rpm. its not loud but very audible. The dealer attempted one repair with no success. We called 1800nissan1 for factory support. They offered no solutions but had us meet with local factory rep in San Antonio. We drove my car at indicated speeds, both noted the sound. Then we picked a new Rogue at random from dealers inventory. Drove same way, same sound. Rep then stated this is proof that the noise is inherent in the design and cannot be repaired. I took it as proof Nissan has a widespread defect in the Rogue. Please!, the factory that built the car cant repair it? It all comes down to money. If there are hundreds or thousands like this and a major component must be replaced like engine or transmission, then its cheaper to stonewall the issue. Vehicle Korean built.…
